Bluff Chess

Chess with a poker face. Every piece but the king is hidden, so every move is a claim — move honestly or bluff, and call your opponent’s bluffs.

Being built. Nothing public to open yet.

The Bluff Chess title screen: a row of chess pieces with two of them replaced by question-mark tokens.

You can see your own pieces. Your opponent’s are blank. Every move you make is a claim about what you just moved, and you are entirely free to lie about it.

Your opponent can challenge the claim, and one of you is wrong. Ordinary chess is still underneath all of it, which is what keeps the bluffing from collapsing into noise — the lie has to be a move the board would actually allow.

Invite a friend to a match, or play an opponent that calls your bluffs as readily as you call its. A guided first game teaches the rules by playing them.
